The planting trip

Errand #7

I sat by the fireplace of Fun's place, seems that I beat her in a 'who wakes up early' game. I'm not going to let go of his berry pancake, not gonna miss it when he makes it "ah, the joy of today's event" he started as I approached the counter "I heard alot from the explorer's guild that this hawlucha wants help in planting something" he said while clearing the counter, its currently sticky due to the berry juice spilt about during the rush hour "you should meet up with Glitter, she won't be the cheerful of all shinx if you're caught on her bad mood" he told me with a chuckle as I went off as fast as I could "you forgot your- he'll be back" he snickered which was the last I could make up from what he said.

I rushed to the guild and I was being greeted by a light shock by a shinx with a brighter eye color "you may be early today but not early by info" she teases me as I trudged forward with guilt like that one time I melt her chocolate sculpture for art project "see, we have another errand and this is what our team name lived up to" she said joyfully as she gave me a pat on my back, her usual way of picking somebody up "Fun must have all sorts of berries he wished to plant" she continued as I followed her to Fun's place at least I didn't tell her I heard it from him I thought to myself as the door to his shop gave a soothing chime.

He placed down the plate "welcome in, let me guess, planting help by this hawlucha" he spoke his guess as Glitter's jaw dropped wide open "come, I have all sorts of seeds needed to fulfil your errand which won't by another guess trouble you guys" he continued with joy as I had to levitate the now wide-eyed shinx with me.

I followed him to the seed vault, a well maintained shed with two open windows "so, umm... wanna help us along?" I started as he was busy packing those oran, sitrus, lum and leppa berries "I take that as a 'yes' for sure then" I assumed as I went to search for the tool shed which isn't too far from the seed vault. I opened the door to see all things being arranged neatly and labelled too from spades to watering can. I took a few watering can along with some gardening glove incase somebody can't get their paws dirty that is "Glitter, come on!" I called out for her as she simply shook her head to snap her back to "you're coming along, Fun? Your dig might spare our time shorter in this errand" I spoke to him as he shook his head as he levitated us onto his back and head out the parlor.

I saw his paws glowing orange as they get progressively brighter "hold on tight, cause its goin to be a ride!" He warned us as we were catapulted into the air "if my prediction is right, we might hit-" he was cut-off mid sentence since he had himself hit a tall tree near the entrance of Subseed Forest or land next to a tree I continued his sentence as I dropped down skillfully and levitated them down. Poor Fun, out cold from the impact, hopefully the smell of nature would wake him up somehow.

Navigating our way to the site, I settled him down and yet again, another light shock hits me "another day, another shock" I told Glitter as she simply giggled at me for the shocks I had. The place sure is busy, pokemon around planting about at the new outpost "earth to Fun, reporting in now" I spoke to him as I splash him with a cup of water from his special pack and now I get an even bigger shock from him as I twitched in place "note, never do it again!" I said as I tried to get up but... I failed to so I stay put.

Fun shook his head a bit and fed me a cheri berry "sorry there, and yes... also sorry for being shocked all the time" he said as he placed down the seeds and searched his pack again "I left my apple tree sapling at the greenhouse! You two do what you could for now while I head back to get the apple tree sapling" he told us as he whizzed before we blink.

We searched for an empty lot, I love how everyone is busy in helping out make the forest preserved by planting those sapling and seeds "this looks like a good spot" said Glitter, pointing to where she's at  as I levitated over the seeds and watering cans with the gloves in it "my tail, it is made for use!" She said as her tail went metallic and sticks it in the ground "what are you waiting for? Lets get down and dirty!" She called out as she continued to dig when something whizzed by.

Fun then placed the apple tree sapling into the hole Glitter dug "there we go sweetie, a new home for you to enjoy" he said as he covered back the hole and waters it "now then, lets put the fun into things, shall we" he said as I tilted my head in confusion "conga garden! I dig, Glitter cover the ground back and you place the seed" he gestured on the duty in the conga garden "alright, line up now, I would put the Fun in fun" he chuckled as we did as told, Fun at the very front has made the holes for the seeds "my bad, I had a bit of a headstart" he said as he changed his place, now at the very back of the line "do the conga!" He announced, its awkward when pokemon notice us but who cares, a lil fun in things won't hurt anyone.

Fun sang his favourite jazz tune vocally with some touch of samba like to it "you know, this is fun! How often you do these thing?" I asked him curiously as he simply laughed about "it's good to know you do it sometimes" I replied while tilting my body to the left and to the right to the beat of the song "work those move Glitter!" I called out, seeing her work her iron tail to sweep the soil back to place.

Glitter with style cover up the soil, maybe with all this conga would help her be able to disarm anybody with the right strength came tumbling over "this is awesome! Conga!" She called out with joy, some dirt did get me but who cares! I couldn't care less of getting dirty especially gardening.

The last hole, all covered and watered as I pat it "hope to see you grow all healthy" I murmured, hopefully nobody heard me cause I have my time to have a light chat with plants around "oran berry patch, your sign has come by to greet ya" I spoke again as I fixed a sign with a picture of an oran berry on it "off to the next everyone!" I exclaimed with joy as Fun dug in the same manner as the oran berry patch.

The dance continued on, we laughed about as we dance to the beat of Fun's vocal instrument "oh the joy of helping you out, especially this one" he said as shook off the dirt the matted him throughout the digging work as I did the same "this is goin in my journal!" He said as he looked at all the pokemon that joins the errand "I've one last thing to do and this one is worth showing!" He stood up and his entire body glowed aqua blue as a small rain cloud formed above him as he padded through the patch "one spot rain dance is what I call it" he continued and once he's done, the rain cloud above vanished like a puff of smoke like those abra back at school that creates smoke everytime he teleports away.

We met up with Gavina, happily told her we did our great job, no illegal berries and sorts! A Starbit coin is our reward and it'll be a good time to head back to Fun's place for a lil wind down from today's errand.
